Hello, and welcome to my little online home! I'm Rachael Leigh and I am a wedding and senior portrait photographer in Southwest Ohio! I do hope that you will grab a cup of coffee and enjoy viewing some of my latest work and getting a little sneak peek into life behind the scenes!
When you are growing up alongside of someone, you think about the future, but never realize how fast it comes until it’s here! God has a special plan for each of our lives and never in my wildest dreams did I imagine myself to be the one to photograph the wedding day of one of my closest cousins, but he clearly knows way better than me! I was honored to be able to witness their day from a completely different perspective than at any other family wedding so far and I still sit here with tears welling up in my eyes at all of the special moments.
After meeting Lacey last year and getting to know her a bit, I just knew that she was a great match for Wes. All the family gatherings and talks after that just proved my first assumption! Their wedding day was a culmination of their journey so far and oh boy was it special! From the intimate prayer behind a door to the moment when Wes saw his bride for the very first time with tears in his eyes as she came down the aisle, each little detail was an affirmation of God’s plan in their lives! My sweet Papa officiated the ceremony as Wes and Lacey became husband and wife! And before a crowd of family and friends they promised to be there for each other through this new journey of marriage.
Writing this seems so surreal, but Lacey you are officially part of the family! I can’t wait to witness all that the Lord is going to do through you two! Enjoy some of my favorites from your big day! And have fun on that honeymoon as you soak up all the amazingness of your first days of being Mr. and Mrs. Curtis!!
That second dress was a HANDMADE junior bride dress! It was incredible and the lace was just gorgeous!!
Before Lacey got into her dress, her sweet mom had all of the girls pray over the wedding rings! It’s a tradition she started at her son’s wedding and one of the most special parts of the day!
