The Process
You're unique and the relationship you have with your photographer should be the same. I always say that you not only have to like a certain style of photography, but you also have to click with your photographer! So, step one? Let's be friends! After we've had a chance to get to know one another online, we'll set up a time to chat in real time and determine if we're a match.

WE'RE OFFICIAL!
To officially save your wedding date on my calendar, I'll walk you through a custom booking proposal. This allows you to review your package and pay the initial retainer to make everything officially official! And that's it! You're a Rachael Leigh Bride & Groom and now it's time to start planning all the things! . . .
step two:
ENGAGEMENT Session
After you book, we'll schedule your complimentary engagement session. This is the time when I get to teach you all the things! Including my entire posing system that'll have you modeling like a pro. All I need is the first 15 minutes to turn your nerves into joy & create genuine images of YOU! And then you'll walk into your wedding day being total pros in front of the camera!

planning your day
I believe weddings are a celebration of your story with your people who've helped you get there. That's why I empower all my couples with resources to help them plan a wedding that's not only beautiful, but stress-free. So that they can actually enjoy their wedding and spend time with each other and their people. You've never done this before, so think of me as your friend with a camera who also knows a thing or two about weddings. And together, we'll make sure you not only get pretty photos. But also meaningful moments with your people.
step four:
time to get married
It's time to GET MARRIED! And I believe your whole wedding story is worth telling. I show up with a mix of take charge & observer skills to make sure your entire day is documented the way it happened! I go out of my way to ensure the photos that fill your gallery aren't just pretty, but emulate the exact way you felt on your day! So, whether that's creating a bright & clean spot for getting ready photos or silently gliding through your ceremony. I'm in it for you and on your side to make sure you get photos those photos you've dreamed of!
step five:
GALLERY & ALBUMS
After your wedding day is over, you'll receive an online gallery full of HUNDREDS of images! You'll be able to relive every moment from your day! The joy, the emotion, the people! So, I encourage all my couples to sit down together the night they receive their gallery goes live and enjoy reliving their wedding day! Soon after your gallery is delivered, you'll receive your full album design (if you ordered an album) and the customization process will begin from there!

ENGAGEMENT Session
Let's get started! After you book, we'll schedule your engagement session. And don't worry at all, I'll teach you EVERYTHING! Give me 20 minutes and you'll be pros. FOR SURE. You'll learn my entire posing system (which may sound daunting) but it's as simple as "where you put your feet and hands". Worried about your fiancé who hates pictures? Never fear! He will secretly be loving it just as much as you by the end! Think you're not photogenic? Let me tell you friend, you are! Trust me, you'll be killing it after that first 20 minutes! Honestly, that's all I need to turn your nerves into joy and create genuine images of YOU like the ones you see all over this site! After your session, you'll be featured on the Rachael Leigh Blog and will receive your full gallery of images to download and share as you wish!

planning your day
Once we're about 8 weeks out from your big day, we'll start to make sure we have everything completely prepared and ready for your wedding. Starting with what I call, the "Bride & Groom Information Sheet" or my "Wedding Day Lifeline". This is a questionnaire that provides all the information I could possibly need on your wedding day. From the questionnaire, we'll create a custom and detailed timeline for your wedding. Ever wanted to know how I'm able to capture the magazine worthy portraits, details and candids on a wedding day? This is it, my friend! From getting ready with your girls to guaranteed portrait time with your man, I work with my Rachael Leigh Couples to plan their day so that they can have images like that of their very own!

time to get married
It's time to GET MARRIED! It's time for you to celebrate, relax and let me get to work! All of the planning has come down to this day and I want to guarantee that you get to enjoy it and be able to trust that I'll make these moments last forever! Because I believe in telling the full story of my couples' wedding days, I never shoot less than 8 hours. This day will go so fast for you and so I make it a priority to capture all of the traditional shots that every bride needs while also making sure to be creative & unique. My favorite parts of a wedding day are when I get to spend time with just y'all during your portrait time and also getting the chance to meet all your favorite people in the world! I love it when I get to feel like an honorary part of your family and bridal party on your wedding day! After it's all over, you'll be featured on the Rachael Leigh blog the WEEK after your wedding! So, you'll get to share all the best moments while you're still on cloud nine from your wedding!

GALLERY & ALBUMS

Wedding photography isn't "one-size-fits-all" and neither are my Rachael Leigh Couples. I've curated an experience that allows me to capture authentic, joyful images for all of my couples!
Each wedding experience includes 8 hours of coverage, a complimentary engagement session and an online gallery where couples can share and download their images. I'm only able to take on 10-15 weddings each year to ensure that I can give all of my couples an equally personal and unique experience!
