It all started in Stuart Hall at the University of Dayton their freshman year of college. He lived on the ground floor and she lived on the 5th. A friendship that would kindle a relationship began and in June they will be walking down the aisle on the same campus where it all began. Saturday morning we captured one of the first stages in their experience with me, but for them, it’s one of the last until they become man and wife!

We were hoping for warmer weather, but March in Ohio is always a mystery. This year, it’s snowing again! Despite the chilliness, we met up with Alex and Meredith for their engagement session at Carriage Hill Metropark. Engagement sessions are one of my favorite things because we get to know each other more without the stress of a wedding day, the really fancy clothes and they can be completely and totally themselves. Alex and Meredith were so fun to work with! From the playfulness of Alex’s personality to the serenity and beauty that Meredith exudes, each moment was so special! I loved hearing more about them as we walked and found spots with pretty light and hearing all about wedding plans and their families. And when we found the glowy light, magic happened. Alex and Meredith, I just can’t wait to see y’all again in June! But then, we’ll be celebrating your wedding day! For now, enjoy all of my favorites from your session!
