I think you know by now that I’m pretty partial to engagement sessions! There’s just something about getting together with my couples prior to their wedding day and just having some time to get to know one another and create some beautiful images! One of the best things is that they can include places and things that are special to them! For Grant and Katie that meant Eden Park and their cute pup, Lennie! Eden Park is special to them because they used to live really close to there! So walks in the park, when Lennie was still little, were a regular occurrence! It was so fun to be able to go somewhere that felt like a little piece of home to them and use the little bit of fall colors we could find!

Grant and Katie are so sweet! I can remember just how excited Katie was when she reached out to me about her wedding! She dished out all the details of their relationship and I totally felt like we were already friends! Isn’t so funny how just connecting with someone’s story can do that? Anyhow! She also shared with me about their French Park wedding next Spring! I totally swooned as she kept sharing what they had planned! It’s going to be beautiful! But! Even though the details will come together and it’ll be pretty, I’m especially excited to just celebrate them and the day they get to call each other husband and wife! That’s always my favorite thing to remind them of during “just married portraits”! The smiles that come from just mentioning those titles are ALWAYS the cutest!!
